05年这张<Deluxe 3>出来前,对Monte La Rue的认识还停留在<NL 2 - Nouveau Noir>,或者更早点的<Latin Deluxe>,采用大量华丽的lounge元素,总是带着很绚丽的音乐色彩Monte La Rue以前所刻意追求的.以前曾在一个网站下载到Monte La Rue做的现场的Latin Deluxe mix,1小时多的big band风格轰炸,确实不得不承认他在lounge mix上的功底是相当的深厚．从NL系列开始后，接着的Lounge Deluxe系列更是把Monte La Rue的音乐风格带到一个更为宽广的领域，也是他开始充分吸收缓拍，trip-hop一些类型的时候 "Thievery Corporation - Norman feller - United Future Organisation - Paint - Nightmares on Wax - Blackanized - Marden Hill - Dzihan & Kamien - Bullinuts & others"，从上面<Lounge Deluxe2>里面参与制作的艺人组合中,很容易发现一些在缓拍乐界常出现的身影.
<Deluxe>系列的开始,那么从抛开Lounge这个单词来说就有了很明显的变化,04年连续发布的<Deluxe1><Deluxe2>,到05年的<Deluxe3>,06年的<Deluxe4>,Monte la Rue分享了越来越多的传奇音符和组合,Boozoo Bajou连续出现在05和06专辑里边,或者说Monte la Rue和Boozoo Bajou的音乐概念要相近一点,或者说Boozoo Bajou的一个缓拍曲子坏了Monte la Rue奢侈专辑着手成为Lounge大碟的想法，或者说Lo Greco Bros的Jazzy Rap Night帮凶了Boozoo Bajou的dusky blues song...
